Long before a child raises their hand in class, they need to find their voice at home. 

For many kids, those first words come late or not at all, leaving them playing catch-up by the time school starts. 

This can create gaps in confidence, connection, and classroom readiness, especially when early language delays affect reading skills. 

And so, as the new school year begins, one nationally recognized speech-language pathologist is empowering quiet kids across the country to find their voice and thrive this Back-to-School season and beyond. 

Jo Ann Gramlich joins Ali Touhey on News 4 WIVB Buffalo‘s Wake Up! to share how parents and educators can set children up for growth and success throughout the school year and the release of her award-winning Talk, Play, and Read With Me series (published by AuthorHouse).
